Job summary

Green Thumb is seeking an Application Analyst to bridge business and technology for Ordering and CPG operations. You will elicit and document needs, author user stories, and drive delivery across the application lifecycle, reporting to the Senior Manager of Applications.

This is a remote position with Chicagoland area preferred. Responsibilities include leading requirements sessions, maintaining the product backlog, translating needs into specs, and coordinating with IT and business partners to

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a professional environment supporting Manufacturing Operations
• Experience interacting with and technically supporting Order Management, CPG, ERP, and related operational systems a plus
• Experience with highly regulated industries a plus
• Experience authoring and updating application process flow diagrams as well as architectural application integration diagrams a plus
• Experience leveraging AI tools such as Claude to assist with requirements documentation, user story generation, and application mockup creation a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead structured requirements gathering sessions including workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs with cross-functional stakeholders across Ordering, CPG Operations, and Finance
• Author and maintain user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria, owning the product backlog and coordinating grooming sessions with business and technical leads
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, process flow diagrams, and integration documentation for Ordering and CPG platforms
• Serve as the primary liaison between business partners and Development Team, managing scope, risk, and project status throughout the SDLC
• Collaborate with the development team on sprint planning and release sequencing, ensuring business priorities are reflected in delivery timelines and dependencies are proactively managed
