Job summary

Green Thumb in the United States is seeking a Director of Technology Applications for CPG & S&OP to lead a team responsible for managing and supporting wholesale S&OP, cultivation, manufacturing and fulfillment applications. The role partners with IT leadership and business partners to deliver integrated technology solutions, balancing strategic roadmaps with hands-on execution.

The ideal candidate will drive performance, manage budgets, align vendors, and communicate complex technical decisions

Qualifications

• 8+ years of technical program/project management experience in a fast-paced technology company and/or consulting.
• 6+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications that enable Wholesale S&OP, Cultivation, Manufacturing, Fulfillment, or other supply chain operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management or a related field, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a department of technical professionals, internal and external, responsible for the development and maintenance of IT applications.
• Establish department goals, objectives, and procedures to drive continuous improvement on system stability and project delivery
• Oversight and accountability for day-to-day IT operations for all applications, including SaaS solutions; manage remediation and long-term plans when incidents arise.
• Develop and maintain systems and team performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
• Provide oversight to ensure the successful delivery of multiple complex IT projects within timelines and budgets.
• Collaborate with senior business stakeholders to pinpoint functional capability and technology gaps; formulate a technology roadmap considering business advantages, feasibility, and resource access.
• Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with external vendors and partners for application-related services and solutions; align roadmaps with business objectives.
• Facilitate IT Governance in coordination with senior management, planning for future business needs
• Formulate and oversee budgets for application development, maintenance, and support activities
• Consolidate and leverage existing applications to streamline business processes and reduce overhead.
