Job summary
Canonical Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Product Marketing professional to own positioning and messaging for a product area in a fully remote role. You will shape market storytelling, work directly with product, sales, and marketing to drive campaigns and campaigns that move pipeline.
You will lead launches, develop competitive narratives, and craft enablement materials based on customer and community insights. Strong English communication and a track record in B2B software/open source are essential.
Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Proven ability to own positioning and messaging for a product or portfolio.
- Experience with product launches and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Own positioning, messaging, and the narrative for your product area across channels.
- Lead end-to-end product launches with timelines, assets, and post-launch reporting.
- Build and maintain the competitive picture and enablement materials for sales.
- Conduct structured customer and community research to ground messaging in real language.
- Partner with demand gen, content, web and events to turn positioning into campaigns.
