Job summary

Natera, Inc. is seeking a Product Manager for Lab Execution Oncology (Signatera) to own genomics workflows from sample intake to sequencing.

You’ll collaborate with Lab Ops, R&D, and Automation to translate needs into clear software requirements and deliver reliable lab processes on the floor. Expect to ship features that improve throughput and reduce errors, with regulatory awareness and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

Experience in product management, ideally in regulated domains such as healthcare or labs.
Ability to write clear requirements and user stories.
UX design thinking with a focus on user-centered workflows.
Interest in genomics workflows and ability to learn complex processes quickly.
Analytical mindset with comfort using data to inform decisions.
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and tools like Jira/Confluence.

Responsibilities

Own features and enhancements for an NGS lab workflow, aligned with roadmap and priorities.
Write clear user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering execution.
Create flow diagrams, wireframes, and prototypes to clarify requirements.
Bring UX thinking to create intuitive workflows reducing errors and training time.
Groom and prioritize backlog with engineering, balancing features, bugs, and quality improvements.
Identify and close operational gaps on the lab floor (tracking, inventory, disposition).
Track success metrics (throughput, turnaround, adoption) and iterate based on feedback.
