Virtualitics seeks a Product Manager to own a defense-focused product area, guiding discovery and success metrics while ensuring day-to-day efficiency from the product development team.

You will collaborate with engineering and AI teams to understand architectural trade-offs, scope upcoming work, and validate requirements with real users—serving DoD operators and delivery teams.

This role blends technical depth with strategic vision and growth toward senior leadership, with equity potential.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to acquire and maintain a US Security Clearance (requires US Citizenship).
• CS degree (or equivalent technical degree).
• 2+ years of product management or software engineering experience shipping software in agile environments.
• Comfortable reading code, reviewing architecture, and holding your own in technical discussions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Own a specific product area: requirements, backlog management, prioritization, scope decisions, releases, and outcomes.
• Partner on technical decisions with engineering: architecture, feasibility, trade-offs. Challenge estimates that don't add up.
• Bridge users and engineers: translate operational readiness problems into product requirements through direct user research. You’ll be hands on with real users.
• Contribute to platform evolution: R&D work across data ontology management, agent orchestration (MCP/A2A), generative interfaces.
• Support delivery operations: ensure the product reduces manual effort across contract types and deployment models.
• Communicate clearly: demos, PRDs, cross-functional alignment. You are the connective tissue.
