Job summary

BuzzBoard is hiring a Product Manager for AI products. This remote role expects you to own one or more agent-system product lines and drive outcomes, roadmaps, and clear specifications across product, engineering, and model work.

You will design prompts, schemas, and evaluation plans, build HTML prototypes with live model calls, run evaluations, and partner with US-based customers and enterprise partners to optimize performance, latency, and cost.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in product management, ideally B2B SaaS.
• Hands-on work with LLM/agent products: prompt design, structured output, retrieval, tool calling, evaluation.
• Fluency using AI tooling in your own workflow — specs, prototypes, analysis, code reading.
• Ability to read code and API contracts to review a schema and follow a pipeline.
• Track record of shipping features live, in customers’ hands, with measured outcomes.
• Strong written communication; translate technical decisions for CEOs and engineers.
• Comfort operating with ambiguity and short cycles.
• Degree in AI/ML, Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Direct experience with OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, Anthropic/Claude, LangChain.

Responsibilities

• Own one or more product lines — outcomes, roadmap, sequencing, and quality bar.
• Write the spec set from product, engineering, model specs, and handoff readiness.
• Design agent behavior — prompts, output schemas, guardrails, and failure handling.
• Build prototypes yourself — HTML with live model calls prior to engineering commitment.
• Define and run evaluations — build eval sets, score batches, set ship/no-ship thresholds.
• Make the model tradeoffs — context strategy, latency, cost, fine-tuning vs. prompts.
• Work with engineering, GenAI, and design daily; enforce schema/interface contracts.
• Interface with customers and enterprise partners in the US with security/compliance review.
• Instrument and read data — usage, quality, cost, and drift; act on it.
