Job summary

Phoenixoutcomes seeks a Product Lead – Legacy Platform Modernization to drive a federal loan servicing modernization initiative, define the future-state architecture, and oversee cross-functional teams in requirements, solutioning, data, and AI development.

You will align with federal client leadership, guide option analyses and roadmaps, ensure governance in Confluence/Jira, and deliver client-ready artifacts on schedule while managing risk and staffing estimates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading legacy system modernization, migration, or decommissioning.
• Elicitation of requirements, value stream analysis, and future-state visioning.
• Excellent written and spoken communications for executive audiences.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to shift focus between high-priority tasks and lead through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the legacy platform modernization assessment and provide overall product leadership across the Requirements, Solutioning, and Development workstreams.
• Establish the strategic end-state vision for legacy capabilities and map to the target enterprise platform.
• Drive executive alignment with federal client leadership; present options, trade-offs, and recommendations.
• Oversee current-state assessment of the legacy platform, including servicer portal, databases, reporting, and integrations.
• Guide value stream reviews across loan servicing capabilities and document requirements in Confluence/Jira.
• Create legacy function disposition analyses and design phased modernization options with cost and staffing estimates.
• Champion responsible use of AI in modernization and integrate pilot learnings into roadmaps.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise data standards and shared services; manage workforce evolution.
• Deliver client-ready, high-quality artifacts on schedule and navigate risks and escalations.
