Job summary

CIS Technologies Inc. is seeking a UX Designer / Product Experience Designer to own and evolve an enterprise design system powering digital experiences across web and native apps. This role sits at the intersection of design, engineering, accessibility, and AI, maintaining tokens, components, patterns, and governance.

You'll work hands-on in Figma and production, shaping token architecture, governance, accessibility, and how AI tools contribute to the design system.

Qualifications

• Figma power user with experience building design systems.
• Experience creating design-system components in Figma and library architecture.
• Ability to create and edit Figma plugins.
• Experience with the Figma MCP server and Code Connect tools.
• Ability to generate and maintain skill.md files for AI automation.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA at component level.
• Frontend literacy to discuss HTML/CSS/React with engineers.
• Active AI fluency with at least one AI coding tool.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Ability to present, lead meetings and influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve an enterprise design system across web and native apps.
• Shape layered token architecture for color, typography, spacing and motion.
• Ensure tokens translate into cross‑platform code.
• Run governance: review models, versioning, deprecation and quality reviews.
• Maintain a single source of truth for variants, states and guidance.
• Build a machine-readable layer for AI alignment with the design system.
• Review AI-drafted documentation before release.
• Bake accessibility into components and test with keyboard and screen readers.
• Use AI for exploration, prototyping and documentation, including agentic tools.
• Drive adoption by unblocking designers and supporting engineers.
