Job summary

GetLaunchDay is hiring its second designer to own the design of key product areas like the landing page builder, analytics dashboard, and email tools. You will join the product team and collaborate with engineers, conducting user research and shipping designs using a mature design system.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of product design experience for web applications.
• Strong portfolio showing end-to-end product design work (not just visual).
• Proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, variants).
• Experience designing data-heavy interfaces (dashboards, analytics, tables).
• Solid understanding of design systems and component libraries.
• User research skills — plan, run, and synthesize a study.
• Excellent written communication and ability to articulate design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own product design for major feature areas (builder, analytics, emails).
• Conduct and synthesize user research — interviews, surveys, session analysis.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs in Figma.
• Collaborate directly with engineers on implementation — no handoff process.
• Evolve and maintain the design system.
• Define interaction patterns for complex UIs (drag-and-drop, inline editing).
• Run design critiques and share work openly.
• Advocate for the user in every product and engineering discussion.
