Job summary

North is hiring a Product Builder for the Merchant Portal, a hands-on role focused on defining, designing, and prototyping features for Payments Hub acrossTransactions, Reporting, Disputes, Store, and Integrations. You will rapidly validate concepts, craft technical specs, and build sandboxes in sandbox environments to accelerate product velocity.

You will work with Agile teams, leverage AI tools, and maintain awareness of competitive POS innovations to stay ahead in payments technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in product/technical roles.
• 1–2 years using AI tools.
• Experience with Agile teams and Jira.
• Payments/fintech experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and build end-to-end proof-of-concept features and prototypes for Payments Hub.
• Create technical specs, wireframes, and schemas for permissions and mappings.
• Author evals to validate solutions and measure success.
• Direct user discovery with merchants and sales partners to gain empathy and rapid feedback.
• Monitor competitor releases to inform fast feature delivery.
• Leverage LLM APIs and AI coding agents to accelerate discovery and prototyping.
