Job summary

North is seeking a Senior Product Builder to define, design, and prototype features for our payment platforms across iOS, Android, and hardware terminals. This hands-on role bridges product strategy with rapid execution, developing proof-of-concept features in sandbox environments with AI-assisted tooling.

You will collaborate with Agile teams, draft precise specs, and conduct direct merchant discovery to translate feedback into working solutions quickly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in product or technical roles.
• 1–2 years' experience with AI tools.
• Proven experience with Agile software teams.
• Payments or fintech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define, design, and build end-to-end proof-of-concept features for desktop, iOS, Android, and hardware terminals/kiosks.
• Create technical specifications, wireframes, and schemas at a high level of depth.
• Author product evaluation criteria prior to feature creation.
• Conduct direct user discovery with merchants and sales partners.
• Maintain awareness of competitor release cadences to drive rapid delivery.
• Leverage modern LLM APIs and AI coding agents to accelerate prototyping.
