The Procurement Consultant role offers high visibility with opportunities to grow under executive leadership and to influence spend across client engagements.

You will work on projects ranging from small to long-term, focusing on improving procurement efficiency and effectiveness while collaborating with stakeholders across levels.

Qualifications

• 2-7+ years of consulting experience with top-tier firms.
• 3-6+ years in procurement.
• Solid experience in strategic sourcing and category management, HR & Professional Services favored.
• Experience sourcing HR/Professional Services (contingent labor, staffing, recruiting, consulting).
• Experience with MSP programs, VMS, contingent workforce management valued.
• Project experience with Fortune 500 clients on HR/Professional Services sourcing, negotiations & cost optimization.
• Technical proficiency with spend assessments and visibility tools to scope opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience across projects from small to large-duration engagements.
• Demonstrate quantitative and presentation capabilities (Data Analytics, advanced Excel, PowerPoint).
• Take directions from stakeholders at various levels and deliver quality work with limited oversight.
• Help manage workstreams across client projects (operational & opportunity assessments, strategic sourcing, spend assessments).
• Report to a Project Manager for each project.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, market research, RFx development/management/evaluation, and negotiations.
