Qualifications

• 2-7+ years of consulting experience with top-tier firms.
• 3-6+ years in procurement.
• Solid experience in strategic sourcing and category management, HR & Professional Services favored.
• Experience sourcing HR/Professional Services (contingent labor, staffing, recruiting, consulting).
• Experience with MSP programs, VMS, contingent workforce management valued.
• Project experience with Fortune 500 clients on HR/Professional Services sourcing, negotiations & cost optimization.
• Technical proficiency with spend assessments and visibility tools to scope opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience across projects from small to large-duration engagements.
• Demonstrate quantitative and presentation capabilities (Data Analytics, advanced Excel, PowerPoint).
• Take directions from stakeholders at various levels and deliver quality work with limited oversight.
• Help manage workstreams across client projects (operational & opportunity assessments, strategic sourcing, spend assessments).
• Report to a Project Manager for each project.
• Conduct supplier evaluations, market research, RFx development/management/evaluation, and negotiations.

Procurement Consultant/Senior Consultant role (level based on experience)

is a high-visibility position that offers extensive opportunities togrow your consulting career under the direction and guidance of dynamic management and the Executive Leadership team. Consultants engage directly with clients on Procurement and Supply Chain initiatives focused on improving efficiency, driving effectiveness, and increasing their ability to influence spend and deliver value across their organizations.

With a can-do attitude, you will learn about procurement, can expect your voice to be heard, and will be expected to participate in many strategic initiatives for the company.

What can you expect to do?

• In this role, you will gain experience through various projects, ranging from small, one-off projects to larger, longer-duration projects.
• Strong quantitative & presentation skills (Data Analytics, advanced Excel & PowerPoint) are required.
• This person must be able to take directions from stakeholders at different levels and produce quality work without detailed oversight.
• This position will assist with and manage workstreams across various client projects, including operational and opportunity assessments, strategic sourcing, spend assessments, and other procurement and supply chain consulting activities for consulting and internal projects.
• Consultant’s report to a Project Manager for each project.
• Supply chain and procurement assessments: interviewing, modeling and analytics, report writing.
• Strategic Sourcing Initiatives: scoping, market and supplier research, RFx (development, management, and evaluation), and negotiations.
• Internal benchmarking, client research, proposal development, and other internal projects.

What experience is needed to be successful in this role?

• 2-7+ years of previous consulting experience with top-tier consulting firms is highly preferred.
• 3-6+ years of experience in procurement, either consulting or as a practitioner.
• Must have solid experience in strategic sourcing and category management, preferably within HR and Professional Services categories.
• Experience sourcing HR and/or Professional Services categories, including contingent labor, staffing, recruiting, consulting, and other outsourced professional services.
• Experience with Managed Service Provider (MSP) programs, Vendor Management Systems (VMS), and contingent workforce management is highly valued.
• Project experience working with Fortune 500 clients on complex HR and Professional Services sourcing initiatives, including supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, and cost optimization, is highly valued.
• Technical proficiency with spend assessments and visibility tools to scope opportunity assessments, e.g., create spend assessments, establish baseline spend, and calculate realized savings from sourcing events.

Location

This remote role may be based in any US location, and candidates must currently reside in the US. Please note that travel for client work may be required for upwards of 50% of this role.
