Raytheon is seeking a remote Procurement Manager to lead a distributed procurement team, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFAR and driving supplier negotiations and performance management.

The role oversees non-energetic procurement activities, defining scope of supply, and ensuring PO approvals. You will mentor staff, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and recruit talent to build a high-performing group.

Qualifikationen

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and a minimum of 7 years of experience.
• Experience in procurement and contracting, including familiarity with FAR/DFAR regulations.
• Experience managing procurement activities, including purchase order compliance, supplier negotiations, and supplier performance management.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Aufgaben

• Manage the non-energetic scope of procurement teams, establishing and monitoring performance metrics to drive team success.
• Ensure team members possess the necessary knowledge and skills to execute purchasing tasks, including compliance with FAR/DFAR regulations, and provide on-the-job training to address skill gaps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to define and refine the scope of supply, purchasing requirements, and statements of work for procurement activities.
• Oversee compliance with procurement processes, ensuring all required approvals are obtained prior to purchase order release.
• Address conflicts or risks related to supplier terms and conditions that deviate from standard company purchase order terms, engaging with relevant specialists as needed.
• Lead supplier engagement activities, including negotiations, performance management, and on-site supplier evaluations when appropriate.
• Guide team members in managing internal customer and supplier relationships to achieve organizational objectives.
• Support the recruitment, training, mentoring, and development of team members to build a high-performing procurement team.
