Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to lead sourcing and procurement strategies across the supply chain in a remote role based from Santa Isabel, PR. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive cost and risk reduction while ensuring availability of materials for production and commitments.

This individual contributor role requires advanced procurement knowledge, ERP/MRP systems, contract management, and manufacturing operations experience. U.S.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 8+ years experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic procurement initiatives, including sourcing strategies, bidding, RFPs, supplier selection, negotiations, and cost management.
• Develop procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and supplier performance.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships and performance, including accountability for quality, delivery, cost, capacity, and contractual requirements.
• Lead complex supplier negotiations and commercial activities, including pricing, terms and conditions, agreements, and cost reduction.
• Analyze supplier pricing, financial data, market conditions, demand trends, and procurement metrics to support data-driven decisions.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including capacity constraints and delivery disruptions.
• Partner with Planning, Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, Program Management, and other stakeholders to resolve procurement challenges.
• Lead supplier corrective actions and root cause analysis to address recurring issues and implement solutions.
• Establish and monitor procurement and supplier performance metrics, develop recovery plans, and communicate risks and opportunities to leadership.
• Support production readiness reviews, audits, leadership reviews, and travel as needed.
