Job summary

Ingersoll Rand is seeking an early-career Procurement AI & Automation Analyst to join its Procurement Excellence team and build AI-enabled tools that simplify work and improve performance. You’ll work on internally built solutions using Claude Code or OpenAI Codex, with Snowflake, GitHub, and other data platforms.

This remote US role offers exposure across Direct and Indirect Procurement, Logistics, and more.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
2–3+ years of relevant experience in AI-enabled procurement/automation or related areas.
Hands-on experience using Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, or comparable AI-assisted development tools.
Experience translating business needs into defined requirements and workflows.
Experience collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Identify AI/automation opportunities across procurement, supply chain, and related areas.
Translate needs into user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Prototype, build, test, and deploy AI-enabled agents and workflows.
Maintain ownership of solutions, monitor usage, and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure governance, controls, and human-in-the-loop processes are in place.
