Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in History, Archival Studies, Library Science, Information Science, Records Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience in archival processing or related field.
• Knowledge of archival arrangement, description, preservation, and cataloging.
• Experience developing finding aids, inventories, and metadata.
• Familiarity with standards, digitization workflows, and preservation procedures.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accurate documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital documentation tools.
• Experience with archival management systems or digital repositories preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, organize, describe archival collections and records.
• Process materials from accessioning to final storage.
• Develop finding aids, inventories, catalog records, and metadata.
• Apply archival standards to ensure consistent documentation.
• Evaluate preservation needs and storage conditions.
