The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Chemical Engineering with 5+ years in optimization, and is proficient in Aspen Plus, HYSYS, Excel, Python, and MATLAB.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 5 years in process optimization, analysis, or simulation within chemical industry.
• Proficiency with process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of kinetics, thermodynamics, and transport phenomena.
• Experience with cost-saving and efficiency improvements; remote work capable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze process data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies for process optimization to enhance yield, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Utilize process simulation and modeling software to test optimization scenarios.
• Conduct techno-economic assessments for proposed process improvements.
• Collaborate with plant engineers and operations teams to implement optimized processes.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including mass and energy balances.
• Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in process optimization and chemical engineering.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on optimization findings and recommendations.
• Support troubleshooting efforts by providing analytical insights into process performance.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices across different operational sites.
