Job summary

Energy Transition Capital is seeking a highly analytical Fund Controller to lead financial reporting, accounting, operations, and compliance for its private equity funds. You will oversee fund accounting, investor reporting, and valuation support while coordinating audits, tax, and regulatory filings.

Working with the Co‑Founder and COO, you will build scalable finance infrastructure and mentor the team, shaping long‑term accounting capabilities across the platform in a fast‑growing environment.

Qualifications

• CPA designation preferred; strong accounting and finance background.
• Experience with private equity fund accounting, audits, and tax coordination.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple service providers, and scale processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fund accounting and operational activities with third‑party administrators and auditors.
• Coordinate audits, tax compliance, and investor reporting for multiple funds.
• Manage financial reporting for management company, GP, and investment entities.
• Develop scalable controls, processes, and infrastructure for growth.
