Petra Funds Group is seeking a Senior Controller to lead fund accounting operations for a portfolio of private equity clients in the United States. You will own the full client relationship lifecycle from onboarding through ongoing administration, directing the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of all deliverables.

This is a senior, client-facing role guiding accounting matters, investor reporting, and audit oversight while shaping scalable service delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive work experience in accounting or audit, with PE/fund admin or public accounting preferred
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with prompt task completion
• Strong Excel and advanced spreadsheet skills
• Knowledge of Investran Live is a plus
• Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a team approach
• Unquestionable integrity and ethics
• Undergraduate degree required; MBA a plus; CPA preferred but not required

Responsabilités

• Own end-to-end client relationships as the senior point of accountability, from proposal and engagement implementation through ongoing administration
• Direct staffing strategy and oversee training and development of engagement teams
• Design, implement, and refine procedures and controls governing internal and external deliverables
• Lead the design and implementation of partnership allocation models across diverse client base
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Investran Live and DX systems
• Prepare and review investor communications, including capital calls and distribution notices
• Review and approve investments recorded in the Investran Live GL
• Provide final review and sign-off on management fee calculations, invoices and journal entries
• Oversee cash reconciliation across partnerships and portfolio companies
• Review and validate fund financial statements and management reporting, including IRR, MOIC, TVPI, RVPI, DPI
• Collaborate with leadership to drive strategic projects and client inquiries
• Provide final review of private equity benchmark returns (MOIC, IRR, TVPI, RVPI, DPI)
• Lead audit readiness and oversight for interim and annual audits with external auditors
