Job summary

Atlantic Group in Stamford, CT seeks a senior fund accounting leader to oversee accounting, reporting, and operations for the firm’s private equity funds and co-investments.

You will own quarterly and annual reporting, coordinate audits, manage capital activity, and partner with investment, tax, and investor relations teams to deliver accurate, scalable results across the fund lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 7-15 years of public/private accounting experience within private equity.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting, reporting and operational infrastructure for private equity funds, co-investment vehicles, and related entities.
• Own the quarterly and annual fund reporting cycle, including financial statements, audit coordination, investor reporting, waterfall calculations, and performance metrics.
• Partner with investment, finance, tax, and investor relations teams to ensure accurate reporting across the fund lifecycle.
• Oversee capital activity including calls, distributions, allocations, and cash management whilst ensuring compliance with partnership agreements.
• Provide accounting expertise on acquisitions, dispositions, financings, valuations, and portfolio company activity.
• Serve as a primary contact for investors, auditors and tax advisors to deliver a best-in-class investor experience.
• Drive enhancements to fund accounting processes, systems and controls to improve scalability and transparency across the platform.

• Play a key leadership role overseeing the accounting, reporting, and operational infrastructure for the firm’s flagship private equity funds, co-investment vehicles, and related entities.
• Own the quarterly and annual fund reporting cycle, including financial statements, audit coordination, investor reporting, waterfall calculations, carried interest, and performance metrics.
• Partner closely with investment, finance, tax, and investor relations teams to ensure accurate reporting and seamless execution across the fund lifecycle.
• Oversee capital activity, including capital calls, distributions, investor allocations, and cash management, while ensuring compliance with partnership agreements and side letters.
• Provide accounting expertise on complex investment transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings, valuations, and portfolio company activity, while supporting strategic initiatives and firm growth.
• Serve as a key point of contact for investors, auditors, tax advisors, and other external partners, helping deliver a best-in-class investor experience.
• Drive enhancements to fund accounting processes, systems, and controls to improve scalability, efficiency, and transparency across the platform.
