Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Privacy Analyst within Privacy Operations (Security) to own privacy assessments for new products, map regulatory obligations, and drive remediation across Legal, Product, and Engineering.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to embed privacy-by-design in onchain and web3 products, while exploring automation and AI-driven improvements to streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technology risk management focusing on privacy or security.
• Ability to map GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, ePrivacy to operational controls and validate remediation.
• Translate privacy legal guidance and product specs into actionable requirements.
• Experience balancing many concurrent assessments with diverse stakeholders.
• Familiarity with applying privacy to blockchain/onchain/web3 products or willingness to develop this quickly.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight to improve workflows and quality.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end privacy assessments for new products and features and drive remediation with cross-functional partners.
• Map regulatory requirements to the privacy controls framework and update controls as obligations evolve.
• Track privacy requirements and issues across the product lifecycle and manage escalations.
• Embed privacy-by-design principles into roadmap planning with Product and Engineering for onchain/web3 products.
• Identify and implement automation and AI-driven improvements to streamline assessments and issue management.
