Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Privacy Analyst on the Privacy Operations team within Security. You will own end-to-end privacy assessments for new products and features, map regulatory requirements, and drive remediation with cross-functional partners across Legal, Product, and Engineering.

You will embed privacy-by-design into roadmaps for onchain and web3 products, scale automation and AI-assisted workflows, and help advance privacy risk management across the product lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in technology risk management with a focus on privacy or security.
• Experience conducting privacy assessments (DPIAs/PIAs, data flow reviews, or equivalent).
• Ability to map regulatory requirements to operational controls and validate remediation efforts.
• Experience coordinating many assessments with stakeholders across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Familiarity with applying privacy principles to blockchain, onchain, and web3 products.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end privacy assessments for new products and features, synthesizing findings and driving remediation with cross-functional partners across Legal, Product, and Engineering.
• Map regulatory requirements against the privacy controls framework and identify updates needed.
• Track privacy requirements and issues throughout the product lifecycle, managing escalations and timely resolution.
• Embed privacy-by-design principles into roadmaps through Product and Engineering teams for onchain and web3 products.
• Identify and implement automation and AI-driven improvements to streamline assessments and issue management workflows.
