Job summary

Cherokee Federal is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst (Privacy & Training) to support privacy risk assessments and program documentation. The role reports to the Oversight & Compliance Lead and focuses on ensuring privacy controls align with federal requirements.

The position requires active Public Trust clearance eligibility and US citizenship, with remote work options and competitive compensation ($117k max). Training and certification support are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in cybersecurity, privacy, IT, or related field.
• 3–5+ years in cybersecurity, privacy, GRC, or risk management.
• Experience with privacy assessments, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Familiarity with federal privacy requirements and PII protection.

Responsibilities

• Develop PTAs and PIAs with the A&A Team and identify privacy risks.
• Maintain PIAs, SORNs, ISAs, MOUs, and inventories with supporting docs.
• Advise system owners on privacy requirements across the SDLC.
