Cherokee Federal is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support the NSF OCIO as a member of the Oversight and Compliance Team. This remote, full-time role focuses on researching requirements, drafting policy content, and supporting governance and compliance activities within a federal framework.

The position supports development of cybersecurity policy aligned with federal requirements, collaborates across stakeholders, and contributes to audits, risk assessments, and reports while staying

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or related field required.
Experience drafting policy or technical documentation.
Familiarity with federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST RMF, FISMA, OMB directives).

Responsibilities

Support development and maintenance of NSF cybersecurity policies.
Draft policy content and assist in governance activities.
Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to implement policies.
Maintain policy documentation and version control.
Support audit and compliance activities and POA&M tracking.
