Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review prior authorization requests for clinical appropriateness and plan criteria.
• Apply evidence-based guidelines and regulatory standards to approve or denial requests.
• Communicate determinations to providers and members with professional documentation.
• Collaborate with medical directors and clinical teams on complex cases.
• Document decisions in compliance with CMS, state and health-plan requirements.
• Support process improvements to reduce turnaround times and improve member experience.
