Job summary

Dfns is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer to help fintechs, financial institutions, and enterprises across the Americas adopt the platform. You will design integrations, guide deployments, and ensure production readiness while collaborating with CTOs, architects, and engineering teams.

You’ll contribute to best practices, improve documentation, and translate client feedback into product/API enhancements in a remote-first, office-optional setup.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solutions engineering / enterprise integration.
• Proven track record deploying mission-critical systems.
• Deep knowledge of cloud and microservices.
• Strong API experience with REST.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Familiar with ISO 27001, SOC 2, CCSS security frameworks.
• Experience with blockchain, custody, and financial workflows (preferred).
• Ability to design architectures for complex environments.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and deployment support.

Responsibilities

• Guide financial institutions and fintechs through onboarding and integration.
• Build secure, scalable deployment pathways bridging legacy and modern systems.
• Provide hands‑on support: troubleshoot, fix, and build solutions with client teams.
• Collaborate with sales on technical proposals, demos, and RFP responses.
• Maintain and improve technical documentation and developer guides.
• Gather client feedback and translate insights into product/API improvements.
• Represent Dfns at conferences, workshops, and customer meetings.
