Job summary

Dfns is seeking a Principal Solutions Engineer for the US, enabling fintechs and institutions to adopt our platform. You will design integrations, guide deployments, and ensure production readiness while working hands-on with client teams.

In this remote, full-time role, you’ll craft architectures, troubleshoot issues, improve docs, and share product insights with engineering and security teams. Strong API, TypeScript, and cloud experience are required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in solutions engineering or enterprise integration.
• Track record of deploying mission-critical systems for institutions/enterprises.
• Strong API experience with REST and TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud, microservices, and serverless architectures.
• Solid understanding of security standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2).
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to bridge technical and business talks.

Responsibilities

• Guide onboarding and integration for fintechs and financial institutions.
• Design integrations and deployment pathways across complex environments.
• Troubleshoot issues and build solutions with client teams.
• Collaborate with sales on technical proposals, demos, and RFPs.
• Improve technical documentation and developer guides.
• Translate client feedback into product and API improvements.
• Represent the company at conferences and customer meetings.
