Job summary

OpenZeppelin is seeking a Principal Security Engineer for Solana to define technical direction and lead production-grade Solana workstreams. You’ll shape SVM-related porting, token standards, and SDK patterns, collaborating with the Solana Foundation and open source communities.

You will own architecture decisions, drive audits, and contribute to libraries and tooling with an AI-native workflow, engaging with client engineers and security researchers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building on Solana in production.
• Ability to lead multi-quarter workstreams and drive technical direction.
• Deep knowledge of Solana programs, accounts, and cross-program interactions.
• Experience collaborating with foundations or core protocol teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Solana workstreams end-to-end, from architecture to audit prep and deployment.
• Build production-grade libraries with security as the primary constraint.
• Define Solana practice standards, governance, and cost models.
• Own client-facing roadmap discussions and defend design decisions.
• Review and elevate the team's Solana output and accelerate onboarding.
