Zusammenfassung

Solventum is seeking a Principal Cybersecurity Assurance Engineer to lead cybersecurity activities across the product lifecycle. You will define security architecture, manage risk, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and ATO readiness.

You will oversee vulnerability management, perform threat modeling, and guide secure design for embedded systems and IoT devices, all while mentoring junior engineers and driving process improvements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and eight years of cybersecurity experience supporting medical devices.
• Experience with embedded systems, IoT, Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi, or cellular tech.
• Experience applying medical device regulations and standards (FDA, EU, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, IEC 62304).
• Experience leading threat modeling and vulnerability assessments for embedded/IoT.
• Experience with threat modeling frameworks such as STRIDE and CVSS.
• Experience conducting penetration testing, fuzz testing, SAST/DAST.
• Experience performing SBOM generation and monitoring.

Aufgaben

• Lead cybersecurity assurance activities through product lifecycle and develop risk management plans.
• Define security architecture, perform risk estimation, and implement controls across hardware and software.
• Coordinate with Design Assurance, Quality, and Regulatory teams to ensure cybersecurity compliance and ATO readiness.
• Manage vulnerabilities and cybersecurity risks; monitor testing and ensure traceability from requirements to testing.
• Mentor and coach other cybersecurity assurance engineers; drive continuous process improvement.
