SAIC's Software Agile Delivery Team SOTL seeks a Principal Software Systems Engineer to serve as a Product Owner on the UNIFY Program. The role combines product ownership with hands-on software systems engineering for cloud-native, enterprise-scale solutions.

You'll shape the roadmap, drive Agile execution, and champion DevSecOps practices across the full software lifecycle. Remote within the United States is supported for this senior role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• 9+ years of software engineering or systems experience.
• Experience as Product Owner on complex programs.
• Security clearance eligibility (Secret).
• Hands-on testing across the software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize product features aligned with user needs.
• Lead test planning and execution for software components.
• Guide DevSecOps practices on cloud-native platforms.
• Coordinate with IT, Operations, HR, Finance and other teams.
• Represent the organization on contracts and projects.
