Job summary

SAIC's Software Agile Delivery Team SOTL is seeking a principal Software Systems Engineer to serve as a Product Owner on the UNIFY program. The role blends software systems engineering with product ownership, shaping the product landscape and guiding agile delivery in a cloud-centric environment.

You will define roadmaps, prioritize features, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, tested software.

Qualifications

BA or BS in a related field with 9+ years of experience preferred.
Hands-on software testing across the full development lifecycle.
Extensive experience as a Product Owner in technology-driven environments.
Proven ability to manage a backlog, write user stories, and prioritize features.
Experience with Agile Scrum and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

Lead test planning and execution for assigned functionality, including use cases and test data.
Define and prioritize application features aligned with user requirements and strategic needs.
Drive roadmap and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery.
Ensure cloud-native, enterprise-grade platform delivery with DevSecOps practices.
Engage with engineering teams and external stakeholders on technical matters.
