Job summary
SAIC's Software Agile Delivery Team SOTL seeks a Software Systems Engineer Principal to serve as Product Owner on the UNIFY Program. This role blends product ownership with systems engineering, including hands-on testing and DevSecOps in a cloud-centric environment.
You will shape the roadmap, translate user needs into features, and drive delivery excellence with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has strong technical depth, experience with Agile Scrum, and the ability to collaborate
Qualifications
- Strong software systems engineering across full lifecycle.
- Hands-on software testing with use cases and test data.
- Experience delivering cloud-native, enterprise-grade platforms.
- CSPO or equivalent Agile certification is preferred.
- U.S. citizen and able to obtain a Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Own product backlog, write user stories, and prioritize features.
- Define and prioritize application features aligned with user needs.
- Craft detailed product requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Lead test planning and execution across the product.
- Partner with IT, Operations, HR, Finance to meet requirements.
- Communicate strategy and progress to stakeholders and leadership.
- Drive DevSecOps practices and cloud delivery for scalable solutions.
