One Call is seeking a Senior/Principal Software Engineer to provide architectural depth, delivery excellence, and hands-on leadership in a complex, legacy‑heavy environment actively modernizing critical applications. The role balances technical guidance with practical tradeoffs, spanning .NET Framework, .NET Core, C#, VB.NET, REST APIs, and front‑end tech.

Qualifications

Ten+ years building enterprise .NET applications in C#; hands-on with legacy-to-modern modernization
Familiarity with Azure cloud services, logging, monitoring, and observability patterns
Experience in healthcare, workers' compensation, claims processing, or regulated industries
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex production issues quickly
Strong front-end fundamentals: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS/SASS, Bootstrap

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership and architecture discussions across multiple applications and services
Deliver hands-on guidance across .NET, SQL, and front-end stacks
Champion engineering excellence: testing, CI/CD maturity, observability, maintainability
Unblock teams by diagnosing issues across the stack and collaborating with Product, QA, Design and other teams
Develop and optimize data access layers, APIs, and microservices where applicable
