Job summary

One Call is seeking a Senior/Principal Software Engineer to architect and lead delivery across a legacy-heavy but actively modernizing .NET environment. You will guide teams in .NET Framework and .NET Core, C#, VB.NET, and modern web technologies, driving design decisions and pragmatic tradeoffs for reliable software across mission-critical applications.

Responsibilities include hands-on coding, architecture, and mentoring while advancing CI/CD, observability, and testing practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building enterprise .NET applications in C#
• Experience modernizing large legacy .NET codebases
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services, logging, monitoring, observability
• Experience in healthcare/ workers' compensation or regulated environments
• Experience with distributed queues and event-driven architectures

Responsibilities

• Own and drive architecture across multiple applications and services
• Unblock teams by diagnosing issues across the stack
• Collaborate with Product, QA, Design, and other teams for predictable delivery
• Contribute high-quality code in .NET/C#/VB.NET and modern web front-ends
• Promote CI/CD, code reviews, and engineering best practices
