Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. seeks a Principal Enterprise Security Architect to bridge USPS security operations with CISO leadership and enterprise infrastructure.

You will identify security gaps across a hybrid data center and multi-cloud environment, engineering resilient solutions and guiding governance and policy enforcement. You will influence architectural decisions and drive SI automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or IT/security related major; or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in an architecture role.
• 15+ years with hands-on architecture across PKI, NDR, NGFW, WAAP, EDR/XDR, SIEM.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and remediation sessions across the CISO office and engineering teams.
• Translate deep technical risks into clear business-risk metrics.
• Develop and own the Enterprise Security Architecture roadmap.
• Ensure security investments align with CISO goals and business needs.
• Establish governance and security policies for infrastructure.
