Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Principal Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) for the Joint Range Extension (JRE) team. This REMOTE role within the United States requires US citizenship and may involve up to 10% CONUS travel.

JRE is a data link gateway with Java, Kotlin, and C++ components. You will lead test automation, mentor teams, and drive high-quality releases for warfighter missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience required.
• Deep expertise in JVM: Java, Kotlin; strong testing coverage for large codebases.
• Experience with JVM testing frameworks: JUnit, AssertJ, Mockito, MockK.

Responsibilities

• Expand JRE's unit, integration, service, GUI, and end-to-end test automation.
• Engineer and maintain automated performance tests; support capacity planning.
