Job summary

Advanced Solutions International, Inc. seeks a Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer to shape testing strategy across our enterprise portfolio. This senior individual contributor will define automation standards, own high-risk specifications, and guide pattern evolution for scalable quality.

You will mentor staff, partner with Product, Development, and DevOps, and drive shift-left practices to reduce escaped defects while improving release readiness.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software quality assurance for enterprise applications.
• 3+ years in principal or lead level roles and setting automation strategy.
• Proficiency with Playwright, Selenium or Cypress for end-to-end coverage.
• Experience architecting or directing a shared automation framework across teams.
• Strong API testing experience with tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Advanced SQL proficiency, preferably Azure SQL.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills directing quality risk.

Responsibilities

• Set test and automation strategy across delivery streams.
• Own the highest-risk specifications from refinement to release.
• Evolve testing patterns and quality gates across the portfolio.
• Lead the shared automation framework with the Test Automation team.
• Validate data, API integrations, and data pipelines.
• Lead portfolio-level root-cause analysis and risk prevention.
• Strengthen release-readiness and regression testing processes.
• Mentor senior and junior quality engineers across teams.
• Champion shift-left testing with product, developers, and DevOps.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
