Job summary

Ensono is seeking a Principal Project Manager (Remote) to lead complex programs across the full software development lifecycle, partnering with senior client stakeholders to deliver measurable business outcomes. You will shape delivery strategies, drive governance, and mentor teams across distributed delivery engagements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading enterprise technology delivery programs.
• Experience delivering cloud transformation, application modernization, microservices, and enterprise platform initiatives.
• Strong understanding of SDLC practices, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, release management, and operational readiness.
• Expertise in Agile as well as traditional delivery frameworks, and when to leverage each.
• Advanced proficiency with Azure DevOps and Atlassian products; Smartsheet desirable.
• Proven ability to manage project and program budgets, forecasting, profitability, and performance.
• Experience managing Fixed Price, Time & Materials, and Managed Services engagements.
• Strong risk management, dependency management, and governance expertise.
• Exceptional communication, facilitation, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities focused on business outcomes.
• Experience leading geographically distributed and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated success creating collaborative team environments and driving accountability.
• Ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and scalable delivery practices.
• Commitment to mentorship, team development, and delivery excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex programs and interconnected workstreams with clear outcomes and milestones.
• Define and evolve delivery methodologies, planning standards, and tools.
• Translate strategic goals into coherent delivery roadmaps and governance.
• Influence C-level stakeholders to shape vision, measures, and investments.
• Develop long-term client engagement strategies leveraging delivery experience.
• Act as a trusted adviser balancing client strategy, feasibility, and commercial factors.
• Define reporting and governance standards for visibility of progress and risks.
• Oversee RAID, budget management, and risk mitigation across portfolios.
• Develop contingency strategies and elevate material risks for constructive action.
• Lead high-quality proposals and presales responses with insights and mitigations.
• Contribute to competency strategy and foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop Delivery Management teams; promote best practices.
