Job summary

Zillow Group Inc. is seeking a Principal, Product Management to set the vision and multi-year roadmap for a critical product area. You will partner with engineering, design, data science, marketing, and operations to deliver end-to-end experiences that drive engagement and business results.

Remote role with base pay ranging by location and eligibility for equity awards. Candidates should bring 10+ years in product management, strong leadership, and a track record of delivering scalable consumer

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, Business or related field.
• 10+ years of product management experience for technology products.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and mentoring other product managers or partners.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead a cohesive product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for a critical product area, ensuring alignment with Zillow’s overall business objectives and market opportunities.
• Drive end-to-end product lifecycle execution—from discovery and requirements through launch and optimization—using data, experimentation, and customer insights to inform prioritization and trade-offs.
• Lead and influence cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, design, data science, marketing, operations) to deliver scalable, high-quality product experiences that improve customer engagement and business performance.
• Evaluate and refine product performance using quantitative and qualitative inputs, defining success metrics and using insights to iterate on features, user journeys, and platform capabilities.
• Represent the product strategy with senior leaders and key stakeholders, communicating clear narratives, building consensus on priorities, and surfacing risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
