Job summary

BetterUp is seeking a Principal Product Designer (P6) to own the design vision for Partner Experience, spanning Partner Hub, Performance Intelligence, and analytics surfaces. You’ll partner with Product, Engineering, Research, and People Science to shape architecture and ensure enterprise users gain actionable, data‑driven experiences.

You’ll lead complex, multi‑year design initiatives with cross‑functional influence, contributing to AI‑forward product patterns and scalable design systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product design experience in consumer or B2B SaaS
• Portfolio showing exceptional visual craft and systems thinking
• Experience with enterprise B2B surfaces, dashboards, and admin workflows
• Proven ability to influence product and engineering direction at VP/executive level
• Strong design systems sensibility and AI-enabled design awareness

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end design vision for Partner Hub, Performance Intelligence, and analytics surfaces
• Translate HR/organizational data into insightful experiences that drive trust and action
• Lead 0→1 design work on ambiguous, high‑stakes problems with clear POV
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, and People Science from early stages
• Design scalable UX patterns across varied partner structures and configurations
• Contribute to BetterUp’s design culture through cross‑pod critiques and storytelling
