Job summary

Baya Systems seeks a Principal Engineer-Physical Design for a fully remote role serving the US. The candidate will own RTL to GDS physical implementation and lead floor planning, place and route, clock tree synthesis, timing and power closure, and PDV activities.

Collaboration with micro-architects to drive high-performance, power-efficient SoC designs is essential. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 5+ years in relevant roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in physical design or related roles.
• Experience with RTL to GDS flow and PDV methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Own RTL to GDS physical implementation flows including synthesis, floor-planning, place and route, and clock-tree synthesis.
• Lead physical design and implementation of high-performance designs from block to system level.
• Collaborate with micro-architects to optimize performance, power, and area trade-offs.
