Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Principal Level Software Developer to design, develop, and deploy a next-generation Agentic AI Platform. You will work across the full stack from frontend to backend and cloud infrastructure, building intelligent, autonomous agent frameworks and modern web applications.

The role emphasizes collaboration with AI/ML engineers, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions, with remote work possibilities within the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; 9 years of experience or a Master's with 7 years.
• Experience building front-end web applications with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and ReactJS.
• Experience developing backend services and APIs with Python, Java, or NodeJS; RESTful design.
• Strong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, collaborative agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications using modern technologies.
• Build and style responsive UIs for a polished user experience.
• Develop backend REST services and business logic to support platform capabilities.
• Contribute to agentic AI components, integrating LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith.
• Support cloud-based services on AWS (OpenSearch, SageMaker, Lambda, SQS).
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Assist testing, debugging, and performance optimization of platform components.
