Job summary

SAIC's STG is seeking a mid-level software developer to design, build, and deploy a next-gen Agentic AI Platform across the full stack. You will craft intuitive front-end experiences and robust backend services that power complex decision-making workflows.

This role can be worked remotely anywhere in the United States, with the requirement to obtain a secret clearance and be a U.S. citizen. Collaboration with AI/ML engineers will be essential to deliver scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or Software Eng with 2+ years experience.
• 2–5 years professional software development experience.
• Experience building front-end apps with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience developing backend services and APIs with Python/Java/NodeJS.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative agile environment.
• Must pass CompTIA Security+ within 90 days of employment.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications.
• Build responsive interfaces within Mendix and ensure UX quality.
• Develop and maintain backend REST services and business logic.
• Contribute to agentic AI components with LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith.
• Support cloud-based services on AWS using OpenSearch, SageMaker, Lambda, SQS.
• Create IaC with Terraform, Packer, Terragrunt to automate environments.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.
• Assist testing, debugging, and performance optimization of components.
• Document system architecture, APIs, and development processes.
