Job summary

SAIC seeks a Principal Software Developer for the Agentic AI Platform, supporting front-end and back-end development. The role spans modern web apps, REST services, and cloud infrastructure on AWS, with LangChain/LangGraph/LangSmith integration. Remote-friendly within the United States.

You will collaborate with AI/ML engineers and product owners to translate requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions, ensuring performance and security clearances where required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field; 9+ years of experience or a Master's with 7+ years of experience.
• U.S. citizen; ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
• Experience with front-end web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS.
• Experience developing backend services and APIs including RESTful design and complex business logic in Python, Java, or NodeJS.
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to thrive in agile environments.

• Experience building front‑end web applications using core web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience developing backend services and APIs, including RESTful service design and complex business logic implementation, using languages such as Python, Java, or NodeJS.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, collaborative agile environment.
• Front‑End Development: Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJS for building modern, component‑based web applications. Ability to effectively style and design front‑end applications for usability and visual consistency.
• Backend & AI Development: Python development experience, particularly for backend service development. Hands‑on experience with Agentic AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and/or LangSmith.
