Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Principal Level Software Developer to design, develop, and deploy a next-generation Agentic AI Platform. You will work across the full stack, from modern front-end interfaces to robust backend services and cloud infrastructure.

You will integrate AI components with LangChain, LangGraph, and LangSmith, and collaborate with AI/ML engineers and product owners in a fast-paced Agile environment. Remote work is available nationwide in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Eng or related field; 9+ years of experience or a Master's with 7+ years.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
• Experience building front-end apps with HTML, CSS, JavaScript; ReactJS.
• Backend and API development with Python/Java/NodeJS; RESTful design.
• Experience with AI frameworks LangChain/LangGraph/LangSmith and AWS cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain front-end web applications using modern web technologies.
• Build and style responsive front-ends for polished UX.
• Develop and maintain backend REST services and business logic.
• Contribute to agentic AI components with LangChain, LangGraph, LangSmith.
• Support cloud-based services on AWS: OpenSearch, SageMaker, Lambda, SQS.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, architects, and product owners.
• Support testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
