CNO Financial Group, Inc. is seeking a Principal IT Security Architect to shape enterprise security strategy, architecture, standards and risk posture across new technology implementations and major changes.

You will lead security architecture efforts, influence stakeholders, and align policies with DoD, FedRAMP and regulatory expectations. The role requires deep security expertise and a track record in enterprise environments, with a focus on risk reduction and governance across IAM, PAM,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 12 years of progressive IT experience with 5+ years as a security architect or related role.
• Enterprise-level expertise across core cybersecurity domains including IAM, PIM, security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, infrastructure and application security, and resiliency.

Responsibilities

• Define complex security architectures for mergers and acquisitions and major technology changes.
• Communicate security concepts to executives and business stakeholders.
• Assess regulatory changes and update security standards accordingly.
• Provide guidance to cybersecurity leads and engineers and offer technical expertise across the security program.
• Research and track security standards, industry trends, and threats for ecosystem applicability.
