Job summary

CNO Financial Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Cloud Infrastructure Architect to independently define and drive cloud architecture strategy across Azure and AWS.

You will lead enterprise initiatives to modernize infrastructure, enforce governance, and enable scalable, cost-efficient cloud delivery with strong IaC and automated pipelines. The role partners with engineering, operations, cybersecurity, and business teams to deliver secure, compliant cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years designing/integrating infrastructure or cloud solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Azure; AWS preferred and cloud architecture principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, govern, and evolve enterprise cloud platforms and services, including IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop roadmaps, governance, and cost transparency for cloud initiatives.
• Architect and oversee cloud platform services (landing zones, IAM, DNS, hybrid connectivity).
• Collaborate across teams to ensure security, scalability, and compliance.
• Define disaster recovery, multi-region patterns, and operational excellence practices.
• Document designs and enable knowledge transfer across teams.
