Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. seeks Principal Electrical Components Engineers to serve as SME experts for critical nuclear plant electrical components. The role can be remote within the United States or based in any Enercon office.

Candidates should demonstrate SME-level expertise in one or more areas (EM DC power systems, transformers, generators/AVR, MV/LV power distribution) and lead engineering evaluations, lifecycle management, and modernization projects; travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 10+ years in power generation or nuclear electrical systems.
• Demonstrated SME-level expertise in at least one component area.
• PE license or ability to obtain.
• Experience with lifecycle management and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for electrical components and power distribution systems.
• Perform root cause analyses and improve reliability and asset performance.
• Engage with utility clients; present solutions to leadership; site visits.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical direction on projects.
