Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our Nuclear Services Group.

The role focuses on designing mechanical systems for nuclear facilities, preparing high-quality technical documents, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of codes and standards. The position offers remote work options outside of a 50-mile radius from ENERCON offices, with responsibilities including project leadership, client relations, and ensuring regulatory compliance across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 10 years of experience designing mechanical systems for mid-level engineer.
• Experience working on Nuclear design projects.
• Professional Engineering license required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of mechanical calculations.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Good writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs.
• Thermal-hydraulic and design modification experienced desired.
• Relevant energy system design experience (e.g., HVAC, Hydraulic, Piping) preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Responsibilities
